In The Beginning God

Welcome to a brand New year,2012 with great hopes, aspirations. The year has began as  it  were with  a new page,what will you fill in this page that God has turned giving us opportunity to write .what will it be ,the choice is yours and mine. I have prayed for us that this year we will choose God as He chose us before the foundation of the earth.

      Genesis1vs1 ''in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth-----''

God as some one who existed in the eternity past, He us choose of His own free will to begin creation. when He began creation there was nothing in existence, ''the earth was without form and void and darkness covered the surface of the deep''.this means there was no life,no form,the earth was empty.But then God showed up and began something incredible and amazing---the earth,our world and of course us ,mankind.

     2012 now presents you and i an opportunity to begin something. The major thing to begin this year ,is to create a relationship with God.Let that be the first business of this year.when David was made king ,the first order of business for his government

was to bring the Ark of covenant to jerusalem .To david,there was no kingdom or government without the Ark which is the Presence of God in his life and kingdom.

    in the beginning God--------'',when we begin with God as the first order of the year,it will set the tone for our year to be blessed.It is true that david made mistakes but because he chose to begin with God ,God helped him greatly throughout his reign. Too often we began with other things only to realise that God as the 'alpha and omega ',the beginning and the end,needed to be our foundation our very source.This matter can not be left to an after thought when trouble comes 

it has to be decided today,for as a popular adage puts it 'the morning tells the day'.

  Begin with God and it will be easy to stay with God all through the year. create a conducive atmosphere in your life to have a relationship with God.In genesis the bible says he comes to Adam and Eve in the cool of the day,that tells me early in the morning.In Luke23 ,the two disciples on their way to Emmaus,when Jesus met them ,they constrained Him to stay with them for the night,----this  is crucial that we too constrain Jesus  this year more than ever  to stay with us for ever ,for truly the night is far spent.

      Resolve early now to spend time in daily prayer and study of God's word,and ask for God;s help and grace to commit to it.If He helped the priests in David's time to carry the Ark after their initial mistakes He will also help us if we choose Him.

what's on your to do list for this year,is God at the top of the list?.

  The old testament began with God,the new also began with Him for we were told in John1vs1,''in the beginning was the word and the word was God----',

and revelation1 says,this is the revelation of Jesus Christ------'

     God has crowned this year with His goodness,for every one who will choose to begin with God.As a sister said to me this year 'access and not assets ' is the key.welcome to the journey of our lives ,with the Shepherd of our souls.

Welcome to begin with the beginner of all things in life and destiny.when we begin with Him He will also create something beautiful in us,and we can say at the end ,''it is very good'' genesis1vs31.

  May your beginning be great so your end can also be blessed and great.
