Merry Christmas,hope you had a wonderful time in the presence of the One who was born to give us a new birth and a new life in God ,even Christ Jesus our Lord and savior.  As we finish the last bit of leftovers of turkey and pie,to prepare for 2012, i will like to share with us something that will stir us up cause us to enter 2012 in two ways,on our knees and on our toes in readiness to pray and pray and pray without ceasing and to run with vision and purpose to the high calling of God.

A case for Intimacy2

I was thinking about the post yesterday ,and as i went back and forth with the Lord on the matter,i realised we need to extend the conversation further so we can profit by it .It is not a new thing to say that our generation is in desperate need of holy men and women of God who do not need a name tag to identify them. In 2kings the story of Elisha was told as a travelling prophet all over Israel , a very prominent woman simply called the  great woman of shunem ,saw him walk pass her house every day.And said to her husband,''this is a holy man of God-----''.she identified him as such ,elisha did not introduce himself to her.

A case for intimacy with God

Intimacy is something we all desire ,but something many of us have gotten wrong. From the beginning God created each of  us with that desire. If you were like me  you will probably wonder why the God of the whole earth ,who never needed anything will want to have such a close relationship with me.

One Thing is Needful

Hey,
   Hope you are not caught up in the shopping frenzy that usually characterises this time of the year.There is so much we aught to be doing  at this time to prepare for the next year  ,that shopping is the least thing we ought to be worried about .  This is the time of the year when even church activities as wonderful as they are should also be minimized. The reason for that is that ,so we can give more time ,attention,in our hearts,minds to the one thing that is needful to us ,that has eternal value.

Prepare For 2012

It's december already,that means this year has come to end.  No matter the unfinished
business of  this year,it's not as important as what's ahead of you. In these 30days you have to start dreaming of 2012, and have visions of  God.
  Am not talking of  resolutions ,those are waste of time and energy,and they fail before it starts. Visions are God's dreams,plan for you life that He lets you into if you ask Him.
        proverbs29vs18 says, '''where there is no vision ,the people perish,but he that
keepeth the law ,happy is he''''.
       we desperately need a clear revelation of who God is,His power,majesty,and His holiness.From this we also receive the will and mind of God for us. without which we loose moral restraint ,and all our good intentions will not save us.
  Every time Israel lack such clear vision of God in their lives,the result is disaster.
In exodus 32,without Moses to give and help exalt the majesty of God,  they threw caution to the winds,and fell into idolatry and abominations.
  When  Samson forgot who His God was ,and who he is in God ,he  became careless,threw away moral restraints,and consequently perished.  In the days left of this year ,always keep God in view of you .

Lord,Help the honeymoon is over

Hey,hope you have all been heating up your prayer rooms. Mine has been as i consider the thorny issue of failed relationships. Relationships beginning  with ours  with God,to our  relationship with each other in marriage ,seems to be taking a direct  hit in recent times. we need to understand that the two go together ,they are infact  two sides of the same coin. Failure in one often leads to failure in the other,even though marriage experts will have believe differently.
