Dare To Ask

Hope you were able to put some spark to your prayers since we last wrote.

Praise God ,and please continue to trust God's Holy Spirit to help fan the flames.

I will like to extend the conversation further. many have said that the reason for the failure or disarray of our prayer alters as believers is because there is always delay in answers,or we are too busy making life happen to pray. To all these my answer would ,they are just excuses. We do not pray when there something wrong with our relationship with God. How many married people will not speak with our spouses ,children and family members that live under the same roof with us?. No matter the trouble you have with them you find ways to communicate to end the impasse ,because you know it's not good for the relationship. So how come we call ourselves God's children ,His bride,and we do not take the time ,make the effort to pray. To pray is more than talking with God and giving Him a shopping list. To pray is to have an intimate relationship with the lover of your soul ,your creator ,your savior and Lord.To pray my brethren is to develop, ,further and strengthen your relationship with God.

Passion and Prayers

when we think about the word passion ,the last thing that comes to our mind is prayers. For passion evokes emotional excitement ,zeal, comittment and in our minds a lot of drama.

But ,this is the key to a wonderful consistent ,persistent life of prayer.for many of us our prayer rooms are cold and uninviting because of a lack of passion for the God we are praying to.Every one who prayed and continued praying,with effectiveness in scriptures were all passionate people.

Who is on the Lords side?

I was thinking of something the other day and the Lord asked me this question in my heart, "Who is on the Lord's side"? I was taken aback because I did not envisage the question. In the past one week I have received emails and phones calls about troubled marriages. One was so seriously early in the morning, about 3am Houston time. I could hear the noises of raised voices and shouts.

I understand there are many things that can hinder or stop you from going to the prayer room. But answering the call to the prayer room is critical for us today. The reason being that it is the only place where you can meet with God who created you to pray. For it is in the place of prayer that you express your love for God, in worship and fellowship.

I have strong burden to reach you with God 's word on raising a daily alter of prayer to Him, who is forever waiting to hear from from you, to speak to and with Him. We can all do it if we set our hearts to it and making it a priority.

Prayer is an awesome journey of faith and worship with God the Holy Spirit, and our destination is the very throne room, the very presence of our great and mighty God.
