I understand there are many things that can hinder or stop you from going to the prayer room. But answering the call to the prayer room is critical for us today. The reason being that it is the only place where you can meet with God who created you to pray. For it is in the place of prayer that you express your love for God, in worship and fellowship.
I just discovered the most amazing scripture in Isaiah 56vs 7 'Even them will I bring to my holy mountain and make them joyful; their burnt offering and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon my alter; for Mine house shall be called a house of prayer for all people.'
This is amazing, no matter how hard life gets,no matter who rejects you, you can find acceptance by God, and find joy and gladness to deal with life's
difficulties. In the prayer room you put on God's strength to help when you are weak and need answers to the questions of life.
God has called you and I to prayers, more than anything else. The greatest ministry of Jesus in heaven is the ministry of intercession. For scripture says' He ever lives to make intercession for us'. Our nation, our cities, our families and friends will be served, helped and loved in the place of prayer.
Let's not waste time any more. Today, there is a reason to go to God in prayers. Pray with me today, that God will awaken, and kindle a desire for prayers in our hearts. That God will teach us to pray as He taught His disciples. Use these scriptures as you pray these prayers, Psalm 63vs1-2, 8, and Matthew 6vs6-13.
