We stand because , our God our Rock is standing , with His everlasting hands beneath us. Deuteronomy 33vs 27.
We stand because The Lord is the ever lasting God, He will not grow weary or tired,
He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.------Isaiah 40vs28-29
When we are weak and weary, He then bears us on eagles wings, and carry us on His back.
We stand, because our light has come and His glory is risen upon us. ---Isaiah 60vs1.
We stand with confidence even when our foundations are destroyed, because the master builder will lay again our foundations with sapphires, and our stones with fair colors., our gates and borders will He lay with pleasant colors. So we are not afraid but trust Him who knows all things. ------Isaiah54vs11-12.
We dare to stand because God is more than able to turn around our mess into a message. In Genesis God found Himself in a situation where the earth was a formless void, and darkness covered the earth and His response was' Let there be light and there was light' . When we stand we do not look at the formless void that we face, but we lift our eyes and heart unto Him who is able to say let there be light.
We stand therefore so God can speak His creative word into our dead situations. So we can agree with king Solomon,when he said of the God of Israel who with His mouth spoke the word of promise and by His hands He fulfills it.
We stand before every fiery furnace in this world , so the son of God will show up in the fire and save us because He is mighty to save. Therefore men and women of courage dare to stand for God. Like David stood before Goliath without sword or spear, but with the mighty word of God in his mouth he brought down the giant Goliath. Today the story is the same every Goliath can bow and be destroyed by word of God in our mouth. Whether it is Goliath of divorce or sickness and disease, or poverty, confusion, they can be destroyed by standing on the word.
Paul said i believe so i speak, men and brethren it is time to speak not our words but the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ that has the power to save unto the utter most. In speaking lets stand strong that all may know our God rules in the affairs of men.
